Brief
Produce an animated lyric video for The Chainsmokers / Coldplay collaboration. We only had 8 days from concept to completion so it was ready for the top-secret BRITS performance.
Idea
Create a lyric video that told the story of a boy and his dreams. This had to be organised with a guerrilla team of artists we put together on the fly, we coordinated the project remotely over the duration of the week we made the video in.
Deliverable
4 minute animated music video.
Results
The video broke a You Tube world record for most views for a lyric video in the first 24 hours, bumping Justin Bieber off the top spot. It was the #01 trending video in the world for a short while and has since amassed over 1.6 billion plays.
